Super 8 by Wyndham Stamford/New York City Area

I knew I wasn't checking into the Ritz but this hotel met all my expectations. We got a great deal for our money. NY and its outskirts are expensive. For what we spent on the hotel, we couldn't have wished for more. Of course, the breakfast was simple (bred, coffee, waffles, ...). And if you wanted to look for other minor flaws, you could certainly find them. However, I believe it would be hard to find a hotel as good as this one for a similar price.

I was booked for the new year's weekend (3 nights) Unfortunately, there was a passing in the family. I needed to cancel the reservation and the staff was very understanding of the situation. I highly recommend staying at super 8 for the value comfort and exceptional staff.

The breakfast with waffles was good, but there were only 12 seats so we had to wait for a table.

the manager here is truly a kind soul. this place isn’t the ritz but it is run with a humanity and soul rarely seen in hospitality these days.

staff where very very friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. They made me feel welcome. The facility was clean, room was nice, and the price was good.
